About the role
The HR Coordinator at Mohawk Industries supports the human resources department by assisting with various administrative tasks and processes. This role collaborates with the HR team to ensure the smooth execution of HR operations and contributes to fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Assists HR function by coordinating and supporting HR processes and programs.
- Supports defined functional areas within HR in all areas of administrative services and special projects as needed.
- Researches confidential employee data and runs reports as needed.
- Codes invoices and processes for payment as required for defined areas of support.
- Researches questionable invoices as necessary.
- Provides basic administrative support, such as maintaining calendars, scheduling meetings, arranging travel, auditing expense reports, ordering supplies/catering, answering phones, opening & distributing mail, drafting communications and presentations, etc.
- Maintains document control of forms, policies, and procedures.
- Plans and coordinates HR-related events.
- Maintains facility organization charts and employee directory.
- Reviews payroll/timekeeping processes.
- Processes forms and maintains records, including paper and electronic HR files, unemployment claims, employee service rewards, and other documents.
- Provides first line of support for HR systems and processes.
- Answers or refers employees to available resources for HR policy-related questions.
- Receives, distributes, and completes Department of Labor unemployment-related documents.
- Performs other duties as needed.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent; college degree or pursuing relevant degree preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc).
- Knowledge of common HR policies and employment regulations.
- Proficiency in written and spoken Spanish preferred.
- Experience with Kronos and SuccessFactors preferred.
Qualifications
- Communicating professionally both verbally and in writing with a variety of people about topics that are often confidential.
- Staying organized while managing a variety of projects and tasks.
- Providing excellent customer service.

Pay
