About the role

The HR/QMS (Human Resources/Quality Management Systems) Manager oversees all aspects of human resources and quality management systems, ensuring compliance with established quality standards, promoting a positive workplace culture, and implementing HR policies and practices. This role reports directly to the General Manager and works with all departments to provide guidance in HR and quality management.

The HR/QMS Manager has the authority to develop, implement, and enforce HR policies and procedures in response to new laws and regulations, as well as oversee quality management processes within Mytrex’s QMS procedures.

Responsibilities

Human Resources

  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs to maintain compliance with local and federal laws.
  • Stay up to date with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate with department heads for recruitment, hiring, and onboarding.
  • Assist department heads to resolve conflicts and implement disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Manage employee benefits and compensation programs.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of employees’ sensitive data.

Quality Management Systems

  • Establish and maintain the quality management system at Mytrex.
  • Conduct regular department quality audits.
  • Assist in completing CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) procedures for departments as needed.
  • Coordinate with engineering, production, and repair to record updates to work instructions and repair instructions.
  • Maintain accurate records of changes made to any part of the established QMS.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM, HRCI) is a plus.
  • Preferred minimum of 2-5 years of experience in HR management and quality management.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now is a plus.
  • Compliance with all federal, state, and local HR and quality-related regulations.
  • Must be willing to complete and pass a federal background check and drug test.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Schedule

This position typically operates in a standard office environment with regular business hours: 8 AM–5 PM, Monday–Friday. Some flexibility for working from home may be available as needed, though the role is primarily in-office.
