Human Resources Generalist

Location: Seattle, WA (In Office)

About the role

We have an opportunity for an HR Generalist to support our Seattle location. This position assists with recruitment, leave of absences, accommodations, investigations, union grievances, employee relations, and various administrative tasks for the team.

Responsibilities

• Partner with managers to support recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Respond to employee questions regarding policies, benefits, and workplace concerns.
• Maintain and update employee records to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Prepare reports and track HR processes across multiple software platforms.
• Handle employee relations matters with professionalism and confidentiality.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have reliable means of communication and transportation.
• At least 1 year of human resources experience required.
• Customer service background needed.
• Must be detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
• Proficient understanding of Microsoft Suite, Smartsheet, Oracle, etc. preferred.
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
• Prior customer service experience in a fast-paced environment needed.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in Securitas’ pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
