Responsibilities
- Support full-cycle recruitment efforts, with a focus on attracting candidates in rural and hard-to-fill markets.
- Conduct phone screens and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
- Facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation to ensure a smooth start for all employees.
- Assist in developing and maintaining training documentation and support the rollout of plant training programs.
- Support employee relations by responding to employee questions and helping resolve day-to-day issues.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of employee documentation, including new hire paperwork, status changes, and personnel files.
- Partner with the Plant HR Manager on HR initiatives with compliance efforts.
- Help implement HR programs that support a growing workforce and positive workplace culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- 2 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or plant setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to change.
- Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
