About the Role

This onsite position in Olive Branch, MS supports the daily functions of the Human Resources (HR) department, including recruiting, interviewing, benefits administration, and enforcing company policies. Under the direction of the Human Resources Manager, the HR Generalist partners with plant leadership to foster a high-performance culture and serves as a resource for employee inquiries.

Responsibilities

  • Employee/Labor Relations:
    • Handle employee relations matters and provide guidance to managers on employee-related issues.
    • Respond to and resolve employee concerns.
    • Work closely with the HR Manager to communicate policies and procedures clearly.
    • Organize employee engagement activities, conduct stay interviews, and promote a culture of inclusion.
  • Administration:
    • Generate HR reports and metrics to support business decisions and track progress toward HR goals.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for leave of absence and disability inquiries, leveraging HRIS and third-party case management support.
    • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality.
    • Respond to unemployment claims and manage case documentation.
    • Prepare and process HR-related documentation, such as employment documents, terminations, and promotions.
    • Assist employees with benefits-related inquiries and issues.
  • Recruitment:
    • Maintain and develop talent pipelines for current and future staffing needs.
    • Coordinate and schedule interviews; guide hiring managers through structured interview processes.
    • Prepare and extend job offers in collaboration with leadership.
    • Facilitate onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • 3+ years of relevant HR experience (required).
  • Spanish language skills (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of recruiting strategies and candidate assessment techniques.
  • Manufacturing industry or warehouse experience (preferred).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to quickly learn HRIS and talent management systems.
  • Self-directed, hands-on HR Generalist with the ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
