Human Resources Generalist
About the role
The Human Resources Generalist for the North Little Rock, Arkansas facility in the Earthmoving division will serve as an HR Consultant to Operations partnering with leaders to create a positive Caterpillar experience for employees.
Responsibilities
- Interact with and counsel all levels of management, salaried & hourly employees, to assist and resolve a wide variety of personnel, wage/salary and benefit related issues
- Administering and interpreting HR Policies and Practices
- Partner with Operations to forecast production staffing, hiring and attrition and influence related continuous improvements; manage Workday position management for production workforce
- Communications plans for human resources related material
- Compensation planning
- Employee Opinion Survey analysis and recommend strategic initiatives to improve the employee experience
- Production Career Planning and Development
- Track and report on metrics and measurements for human resources functions and provide data to management
- Conduct internal investigations
- Various other Human Resources related duties
Requirements
Top Candidates Will Also Have Experience supporting manufacturing, operations, or professional services environments
Advanced use of HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday)
Demonstrated problem-solving skills along with good human relations and communications skills to maintain cooperative work relationship with others
Ability to deal with sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality
Ability to influence and coach facility leaders
Strong organizational and prioritization skills
Professional HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM‑CP/‑SCP)

Travel required is limited.
Summary
Pay Range: $97,530.00 - $146,290.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
This position requires working onsite five days a week.
Relocation is available for this position.
