Human Resources Coordinator

About your role
As an HR Coordinator, you will partner with HR COE leaders to support associates and people leaders in providing great homes for residents. Your role includes pre-employment tasks, new hire orientation, associate engagement, and ensuring compliance with HR processes.
Responsibilities
- Serve as an ambassador for the Human Resources department, delivering an excellent associate experience.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience for all walk-in applicants.
- Schedule and confirm completion of pre-employment requirements (fingerprint background checks, drug screens, WOTC tasks) prior to orientation.
- Maintain associate files in compliance with state and regulatory agency requirements.
- Maintain BCI log.
- Process new hire paperwork accurately and timely, coordinating with Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development teams.
- Communicate orientation details to new hires and conduct orientation sessions.
- Prepare orientation packets, arrange transportation (when applicable), and maintain onboarding computers and room setup.
- Partner with the L&D team to run and review audit reports for I9 and WOTC, ensuring database integrity and accuracy.
- Follow up with associates to ensure timely completion of trainings and assist with computer access and training logins.
- Track TB testing and ensure associates have results read within guidelines.
- Answer general HR-related questions for associates and escalate complex issues to HRBP.
- Assist the management team with associate engagement activities.
- Track and order new hire and annual associate uniforms.
- Run ad hoc reports as needed by the business and HR team.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, organizational development, educational technology, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in human resources or a similar role preferred.
- Experience in a senior living setting strongly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
- Comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization and strong verbal/written communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service experience for associates, leaders, and residents.
Qualifications
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.

Hourly Rate: $24.00
