About the role
The School of Civic Leadership is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to provide administrative and operational support for the school's Human Resources function. Key responsibilities include supporting new employee onboarding and off-boarding, assisting with recruitment, managing HR communications, and maintaining confidential records.
Responsibilities
- Support new employee onboarding and off-boarding activities
- Track onboarding progress for all SCL stakeholders
- Auxiliary support for staff recruitment efforts
- Create and process Workday business processes
- Career coordination for HR-related programs and initiatives
- Provide day-to-day support to employees and managers on HR systems, processes, and policies
- Manage HR communications through the SCL intranet
- Respond to inquiries and escalate issues as necessary
- Maintain confidential personnel records and HR documentation
- Monitor compliance requirements and proactively follow up with employees
- Manage student employment processes
- Communicate internal and University deadlines to supervisors
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and two years of experience providing administrative, human resources, recruiting, or related operational support
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and sound judgment
Qualifications
- Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate
- Experience supporting human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records, or personnel administration
- Experience coordinating programs, events, or training initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions
Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of HRIS systems (Workday preferred)

$55,000+ depending on qualifications
