About the role

The HR Coordinator's primary responsibilities include coordinating Talent Acquisition, HR Administration, and Employee Engagement. They are also responsible for keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in employment law to ensure company HR policies remain compliant.

Responsibilities

  • Cover letter writing and resume screening
  • Recruitment process coordination
  • Employee onboarding and offboarding
  • Database management and maintenance
  • Administering employee benefits
  • Ensuring compliance with U.S. and Hawaii labor laws
  • Sourcing candidates through various platforms
  • Managing data with confidentiality
  • Communicating with candidates and employees

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Additional education in Human Resource Management preferred
  • One year of experience in ADP Workforce Now
  • One year of experience in administrative tasks such as onboarding, recruitment, and employee database management
  • Working knowledge of U.S. and Hawaii labor laws and employment regulations
  • In-depth understanding of sourcing tools and experience with social media recruiting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365
  • Strong individual accountability and ability to work as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Effective communication skills
