This position is hybrid (3 days per week in office) and can be located in one of the following STV offices: Chicago, IL, Jacksonville, FL, Acworth, GA, or Newark, NJ.
About the role
The Human Resources Coordinator will operate as part of an HR Operations model to support employees at all levels with inquiries as well as the HR team with day-to-day processes and procedures. The coordinator will also support the talent acquisition team with interview scheduling and other administrative support. This role plays a vital part in the overall success of the HR function and its delivery of people-oriented strategies.
Responsibilities
- Assist employees with HR-related inquiries in a timely and customer service-focused manner.
- Assist with HR programs and initiatives: talent acquisition, employment processing, compensation, records management, employee relations, and compliance.
- Enter and complete transactions in HRIS System.
- Support the talent acquisition team with interview scheduling, the offer and onboarding process, and other administrative tasks.
- Ensure data integrity by following quality control measures.
- Participate in the formulation of HR solutions by collecting and analyzing information.
- Complete special projects by carrying out project objectives; setting timetables and schedules; conducting research; developing and organizing information; fulfilling transactions.
- Manage client expectations by communicating project status and issues, resolving concerns.
- Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
- Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.
- Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by staying abreast of existing and new legislation.
- Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Continue to develop job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 4 years of experience as an HR Coordinator/Assistant or Talent Acquisition Administrator.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field preferred, but not required.
Skills
- Detail-oriented and responsive, ensuring closed-loop communication.
- Problem-solving abilities with a process improvement mindset.
- Inquisitive and resourceful.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Forms).
- Experience with Workday or Dayforce HCM is a plus.
- Experience in the AEC or professional services industry is a plus.
Pay
Compensation range: $58,030.00 - $65,943.00.
