We're looking for a dedicated HR/Payroll Coordinator who enjoys helping people, values accuracy, and takes pride in creating a positive employee experience. Responsibilities

  • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll accurately and on schedule.
  • Maintain electronic timekeeping records and resolve payroll discrepancies.
  • Coordinate employee onboarding, orientations, and background checks.
  • Maintain confidential personnel files in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Administer employee benefits, including health insurance and retirement plans.
  • Track leaves of absence, workers' compensation claims, and employee documentation.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee questions regarding payroll, benefits, and HR policies.
  • Assist with compliance reporting, audits, and other HR administrative functions.
  • Help foster a positive, welcoming workplace culture for all employees.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of payroll and human resources experience.
  • Healthcare, skilled nursing, or post-acute experience is preferred.
  • Experience using payroll software and HRIS systems. Workday experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of California labor laws, payroll practices, and employment regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
