Human Resources Coordinator

The HR Coordinator supports recruiting, onboarding, and day-to-day HR activities, with a primary focus on recruiting coordination and creating a positive candidate experience. This position works closely with the Sr. HR Generalist & Recruiter to coordinate interviews, candidate communications, new hire preparations, and general HR administrative needs.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate interview scheduling and candidate and interviewer communications, including reminders and follow-ups.
- Post and maintain job openings on LinkedIn, job boards, and other recruiting platforms.
- Source potential candidates based on established position requirements and direction from HR and hiring managers.
- Assist with resume screening and initial candidate phone screens using established criteria.
- Prepare interview materials, panel schedules, and candidate scorecards.
- Follow up with interviewers to ensure feedback is submitted in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity in the applicant tracking system.
- Support a positive and organized candidate experience throughout the recruiting process.
- Coordinate new hire logistics, including workspace setup, key cards, business cards, name plates, safety shoes, and other employee materials.
- Support onboarding activities and ensure new employees have the necessary materials and information for their first day.
- Maintain the staff directory, employee records, job description library, and other HR documentation.
- Assist with HRIS updates, benefits enrollment reminders, compliance tracking, and routine employee requests.
- Support company events, employee engagement activities, HR communications, and special projects.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team as needed.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Human Resources, Office Administration, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in HR, recruiting coordination, administration, or a related role preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on tasks.
- Professional and service-oriented when interacting with candidates and employees.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with the ability to learn new HR and recruiting systems.
