Human Resources Coordinator
About the role
The Human Resources Coordinator supports employees, recruiting efforts, onboarding process, and day-to-day HR operations. This role works closely with the Director of Human Resources during a transition period and plays an important role in supporting employees across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruiting & Hiring
- Post and manage job advertisements
- Screens resumes and coordinates interviews
- Communicate with applicants
- Schedule interviews and hiring events
- Cook up background checks and pre-employment requirements
- Onboarding & Employee Support
- Cook up new hire onboarding
- Prepare onboarding materials and paperwork
- Conduct new hire check-ins
- Aid employees with routine HR questions
- Support employee engagement initiatives
- HR Administration
- Maintain employee files and records
- Process personnel changes in ADP
- Aid with benefits administration
- Track training and certifications
- Maintain HR forms and documentation
- Employee Engagement
- Visit store locations regularly
- Build relationships with employees
- Aid with morale and recognition programs
- Support employee events and initiatives
- Help maintain a positive workplace culture
- Additional Support
- Aid with performance review administration
- Cook up training activities
- Aid with recruiting and retention initiatives
- Aid with special projects as assigned
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of HR, recruiting, administrative, or related experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Experience with ADP or HRIS systems preferred
- Willingness to travel between locations periodically
