Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment from job posting to offer letter
  • Screen candidates and conduct structured phone interviews
  • Cook up interview schedules with leadership approval
  • Facilitate background checks and employment verifications
  • Complete and verify I-9 documentation within legal timelines
  • Maintain accurate, audit-ready employee files
  • Track certifications, compliance deadlines, and policy acknowledgments
  • Document attendance issues, disciplinary actions, and performance concerns
  • Support Performance Improvement Plans and workforce stabilization efforts
  • Submit payroll updates including new hires, rate changes, and terminations
  • Verify timekeeping records and track PTO usage
  • Produce workforce reports including turnover and time-to-fill metrics
  • Build and maintain structured hiring and compliance tracking systems
  • Support leadership communication and enforce company policies respectfully

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of hands-on Human Resources experience
  • Experience in workforce-heavy industries preferred (facility services, hospitality, manufacturing, logistics, staffing, or similar)
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and compliance requirements
  • Experience using HRIS and payroll systems
  • Ability to generate structured reports and track workforce data
  • Intermediate experience using AI tools for workflow management, documentation, reporting, and research
  • Strong documentation discipline and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to enforce policies while maintaining professionalism
  • Desire to grow into a leadership-level HR Manager role

Pay & Performance Bonus

  • $23 – $26 per hour (DOE)
  • Quarterly performance-based bonus opportunity
