Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment from job posting to offer letter
- Screen candidates and conduct structured phone interviews
- Cook up interview schedules with leadership approval
- Facilitate background checks and employment verifications
- Complete and verify I-9 documentation within legal timelines
- Maintain accurate, audit-ready employee files
- Track certifications, compliance deadlines, and policy acknowledgments
- Document attendance issues, disciplinary actions, and performance concerns
- Support Performance Improvement Plans and workforce stabilization efforts
- Submit payroll updates including new hires, rate changes, and terminations
- Verify timekeeping records and track PTO usage
- Produce workforce reports including turnover and time-to-fill metrics
- Build and maintain structured hiring and compliance tracking systems
- Support leadership communication and enforce company policies respectfully
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on Human Resources experience
- Experience in workforce-heavy industries preferred (facility services, hospitality, manufacturing, logistics, staffing, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of employment law and compliance requirements
- Experience using HRIS and payroll systems
- Ability to generate structured reports and track workforce data
- Intermediate experience using AI tools for workflow management, documentation, reporting, and research
- Strong documentation discipline and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to enforce policies while maintaining professionalism
- Desire to grow into a leadership-level HR Manager role

Pay & Performance Bonus
- $23 – $26 per hour (DOE)
