About the role
The Human Resources Coordinator supports the Human Resources Department by handling various tasks such as applicant and new hire administration, recruiting, conducting orientations, maintaining records, responding to correspondence, and assisting with employee activities and development.
Responsibilities
- Supports personnel issues within corporate policies and guidelines
- Prepares and maintains personnel files and records
- Audits personnel files to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Coordinates with Corporate Human Resources for reports and requests
- Validates and updates employee licenses through licensing boards
- Obtains and inputs necessary paperwork for employee benefits
- Provides consultation and training on employee relations and termination procedures
- Maintains performance appraisal reminders and processes salary transactions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- Two years prior related experience required
- One year prior administrative assistant/executive assistant experience required
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills
- Advanced computer skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with HRIS systems (e.g. Lawson) preferred
- Healthcare HR experience preferred
