About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic HR Business Partner to join a dynamic organization and serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees. This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys building strong relationships, solving complex employee issues, and partnering with business leaders to support organizational and employee success. The HR Business Partner will provide guidance across employee relations, performance management, talent development, workforce planning, labor relations, and organizational change.

This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 3 days in the office and 2 days remote following onboarding, with approximately 10–20% travel.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted HR advisor and internal consultant to management and employees
  • Provide day-to-day guidance on performance management, employee relations, coaching, career development, and disciplinary matters
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues and conduct thorough, objective workplace investigations, including discrimination and harassment claims
  • Promote an inclusive workplace culture through data, metrics, training, communications, and industry best practices
  • Support EEO and Affirmative Action initiatives and ensure compliance with organizational objectives
  • Provide HR guidance related to organizational restructuring, workforce planning, and change management
  • Facilitate talent reviews and succession planning and partner with leaders to ensure development plans are effectively implemented
  • Support labor relations initiatives, including Collective Bargaining Agreement compliance, contract preparation, negotiations, and interpretation
  • Develop a strong understanding of the business, including financial performance, strategic plans, culture, and competitive environment
  • Stay current on HR legislation, regulations, and industry trends and assist with updating HR programs and practices
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline required
  • Minimum of 7 years of Human Resources experience OR 3 years of direct HR Business Partner experience required
  • Experience supporting a geographically dispersed workforce preferred
  • Experience working in a union environment preferred
  • PHR or SPHR certification preferred

Pay

$90,000 - $105,000

Schedule

Hybrid schedule: 3 days in the office and 2 days remote following onboarding
