Human Resources Business Partner
About the role
We are hiring for an HR Business Partner at Worldwide Golf HQ, a full-time position that is 100% onsite M-F in Santa Ana, CA. This person will have great room for growth stemming from exciting new projects and overall company growth. We’re looking for a HRBP who is ready to drive strategic people initiatives while supporting frontline leaders in building high-performing, engaged teams.

You will work closely with our Chief Human Resources Officer, who is an excellent mentor. Work with a strong HR team of 7, with expertise in payroll, benefits, talent acquisition, and more.
Responsibilities
- Lead and resolve all employee relations issues, investigations, and conflict resolution across corporate, store, and warehouse teams.
- Primary partner to store, brand and distribution leadership in the West Region to align HR initiatives with business goals, workforce planning and talent.
- Collaborate with CHRO and other leadership to align HR strategies with business goals and support workforce planning initiatives.
- Oversee performance management programs including coaching, corrective action, and terminations in accordance with company policy and employment law.
- Support Director of Talent Acquisition with end-to-end talent acquisition efforts across all business units (retail, warehouse, corporate), from job posting through onboarding.
- Ensure HR practices are compliant with federal, state, and local employment laws across multiple states.
- Assist in administering employee benefits, open enrollment, and responding to benefit-related inquiries.
- Contribute to broader HR projects and initiatives including policy & handbook updates, training programs, and employee engagement.
- Analyze HR metrics (turnover, engagement, absenteeism, etc.) to identify trends and influence decision-making.
- Oversee the HR Generalist to manage leave of absence processes, including FMLA, ADA, and other applicable leaves, in coordination with third-party administrators.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner, HR Manager, or similar HR leadership role is required (7+ years is preferred)
- Experience in a multi-location or distributed workforce environment (retail, hospitality, logistics, or adjacent industries strongly preferred).
- Strong understanding of employee relations and employment law across multiple states is required.
- Demonstrated experience with leaves, investigations, performance management, and talent acquisition.
- Familiarity with HRIS and ATS systems; Paycom experience is a plus.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative and proactive approach.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred; HR certification (ex. PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP) is a plus.
- Ability to work a full-time schedule (~40 hours per week) fully in-office five days per week (M-F) is required.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $110,000 - $130,000 per year. Individual starting rate within this range may depend on experience, expertise, and education/training.
Schedule
This is a full-time position, 100% onsite M-F in Santa Ana, CA.
