About the Role
This is a remote position with travel up to 40%. The HR Business Partner will have responsibility for multi-site HR oversight and heavy employee relations, supporting the company’s mission through the delivery of unparalleled customer service as they help manage the relationship between employees and Sonida Senior Living.
Responsibilities
- Provides radical collaboration to deliver internal customer support by modeling a robust service approach to foster a strong team environment.
- Delivers coaching support, conflict resolution, and best practices necessary for creating a culture of employee development and engagement.
- Collaborates with internal customers to create and support succession planning, performance management, and talent acquisition as successful engagement strategies.
- Manages policy administration through continuous and collaborative review of policy questions, investigations, and interpretations, ensuring low-risk and defensible disciplinary actions.
- Analyzes and investigates compliance with federal, state, and local statutes and judicial rulings pertaining to EEO, FMLA, WC, ADA, and other regulations, facilitating consultative support.
- Coordinates records and data management supporting leave administration and disciplinary actions to maintain company compliance.
- Performs other tasks as identified.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of two years of experience in Human Resources, with preference for prior employee relations work experience and experience in a multi-site environment.
Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of state and federal employment requirements and regulations in multiple states.
- Very good working knowledge of FMLA and ADA, as well as familiarity with EEOC, CRA, HIPAA, and FLSA.
- Current SPHR/PHR certification preferred.
