Responsibilities

  • Partner with business unit leaders to understand priorities and deliver tailored people strategies aligned to business goals.
  • Provide thought partnership and challenge leaders appropriately on decisions related to leveling, promotions, transfers, compensation, and organizational structure.
  • Audit organizational needs including headcount, skills, spans/layers, and workforce timing to support growth and operational efficiency.
  • Lead workforce planning efforts to ensure employees are in the right roles and future needs are anticipated.
  • Advise leaders on org design, change management, and communication strategies during periods of transition.
  • Coach leaders on performance management, people leadership, and career development.
  • Identify high-potential and high-performing employees; support succession planning and readiness for critical roles.
  • Create learning and development programs with business leaders and Learning & Development teams to address capability gaps and business challenges.
  • Guide people managers on performance issues, risk considerations, and appropriate next steps.
  • Manage employee relations matters with sound judgment, escalating based on business risk and severity.
  • Support a positive, inclusive culture across diverse teams, navigating the nuances of a multicultural environment.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers to strengthen leadership capability and employee engagement.
  • Maintain accurate org charts, process HR transactions, and support core HR cycles (performance management, merit, promotions).
  • Partner with Recruiting on new headcount needs and hiring strategies.
  • Support communication and process flow for employee transfers and organizational changes.
  • Lead and participate in small to medium-scale HR projects that improve processes and infrastructure.

Qualifications

  • Korean language proficiency a must (verbal)
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred
  • Experience as an HRBP or HR generalist supporting multiple business units
  • Strong relationship-building and influencing skills across all levels of the organization
  • Sharp critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve issues quickly
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced environment with frequent change and limited information
  • Ability to navigate and thrive in a multicultural organization
  • Strong prioritization skills with a commercial mindset
  • General understanding of HR disciplines and how they connect (talent, ER, comp, L&D, recruiting, operations)
  • Retail manufacturing a big plus

Pay

$100,000 - $140,000
