We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and dedicated Human Resources Business Partner to join our thriving construction company.
Responsibilities
- Partnering with business leaders to understand their HR needs and providing strategic guidance and support.
- Ensuring compliance with all California state and federal employment laws and regulations.
- Developing and implementing effective employee retention strategies to minimize turnover and foster a positive work environment.
- Providing training and development opportunities for employees to enhance their skills and career growth.
- Collaborating with HR team members to develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
- Managing complex employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
- Providing guidance on compensation, benefits, and performance management systems.
- Promoting a culture of teamwork, integrity, and commitment within the organization.
- Regularly reporting on HR metrics to inform business decisions.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources management, preferably within the construction industry.
- Proven experience with California Compliance and federal employment laws.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices and procedures, including employee retention strategies and training development.
- Excellent teamwork skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of an organization.
- High level of integrity and professional ethics.
- Strong commitment to promoting a positive, inclusive work environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
