Human Resources Business Partner
About the role
The Motion Control Solutions (MCS) Division of the Automation & Motion Control (AMC) Segment is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner. This serves a dual role as the local subject matter expert for employee relations and a strategic HR partner for assigned client groups. This role is responsible for driving a consistent, compliant, and employee-focused approach to employee relations across the Radford site while partnering with business leaders to support organizational effectiveness, talent management, and business performance.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary owner of all employee relations matters across the Radford, Virginia locations
- Lead and conduct complex and sensitive investigations, ensuring timely, objective, and well-documented outcomes
- Provide expert guidance, and training, to leaders and HR team members on policy interpretation, disciplinary actions, and risk mitigation
- Ensure consistency and fairness in the application of corrective action and company policies
- Identify trends in employee relations data and proactively recommend solutions to reduce risk and improve engagement
- Develop and maintain standard ER processes, documentation practices, and investigation frameworks
- Partner with HR leadership to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Support leaders in: Organizational Design, Workforce Planning and Talent Development
- Provide guidance on performance management, employee development, and engagement strategies
- Support execution of core HR processes including Talent Management Cycles, Performance Management, Employee Engagement Initiatives
- Leverage HR data and metrics to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
- Collaborate with HR Operations and Recruiting to ensure seamless execution across the employee lifecycle
- Lead or support HR initiatives and projects related to policy, culture, engagement, and compliance
- Contribute to the development of a high-performing, capable HR team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Possess a minimum of five (5) years of progressive HR experience, with strong emphasis on employee relations
- Demonstrated experience leading complex investigations and managing high-risk employee relations cases
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- Able to influence and coach leaders at all levels of the organization
- Excellent judgment, discretion, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing or high-volume workforce environment
- HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR)
- Experience building or improving employer relations frameworks and processes
- Prior HR Business Partner experience supporting commercial and operational client groups

Work Model
This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.
Additional Information
This role may be filled at different levels depending on the candidate’s experience, skills, and business needs. Compensation: Expected Base Salary Range: $73,200 - $108,200 The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation for this position. Salary is dependent on a multitude of factors, including but not limited to the physical worksite location, the geographic market of that location, candidate's skill set, level of experience, education and internal peer compensation comparisons among other potential factors.
