Human Resources Business Partner
This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office in Radford, VA.
About the Role
The Motion Control Solutions (MCS) Division of the Automation & Motion Control (AMC) Segment is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner. This role serves a dual function as the local subject matter expert for employee relations and a strategic HR partner for assigned client groups. It is responsible for driving a consistent, compliant, and employee-focused approach to employee relations across the Radford site while partnering with business leaders to support organizational effectiveness, talent management, and business performance. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in employee relations within a manufacturing or highly regulated environment, along with the ability to influence leaders and operate as a trusted advisor.
Responsibilities
- Employee Relations Expertise
- Serve as the primary owner of all employee relations matters across the Radford, Virginia locations.
- Lead and conduct complex and sensitive investigations, ensuring timely, objective, and well-documented outcomes.
- Provide expert guidance and training to leaders and HR team members on policy interpretation, disciplinary actions, and risk mitigation.
- Ensure consistency and fairness in the application of corrective action and company policies.
- Identify trends in employee relations data and proactively recommend solutions to reduce risk and improve engagement.
- Develop and maintain standard ER processes, documentation practices, and investigation frameworks.
- Partner with HR leadership to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Organizational Coach
- Support performance management, conflict resolution, and effective documentation and communication.
- HR Business Partner
- Act as a strategic HR partner to leaders within operations, commercial, and administrative functional groups.
- Support leaders in organizational design, workforce planning, and talent development.
- Provide guidance on performance management, employee development, and engagement strategies.
- Partner with leaders to understand business objectives and align HR initiatives to support outcomes.
- Support execution of core HR processes including Talent Management Cycles, Performance Management, and Employee Engagement Initiatives.
- Leverage HR data and metrics to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Cross-Functional Collaborator
- Serve as a subject matter expert within HR, providing guidance to other HR team members and organizational leaders.
- Partner with HR Operations and Recruiting to ensure seamless execution across the employee lifecycle.
- Lead or support HR initiatives and projects related to policy, culture, engagement, and compliance.
- Contribute to the development of a high-performing, capable HR team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressive HR experience, with strong emphasis on employee relations.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex investigations and managing high-risk employee relations cases.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Ability to influence and coach leaders at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent judgment, discretion, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing or high-volume workforce environment.
- HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR).
- Experience building or improving employer relations frameworks and processes.
- Prior HR Business Partner experience supporting commercial and operational client groups.

Pay
Expected Base Salary Range: $73,200 - $108,200. The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation for this position. Salary is dependent on factors including physical worksite location, geographic market, candidate's skill set, level of experience, education, and internal peer compensation comparisons.
