About the role
The position is at a financial services company. As a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), you will provide strategic and operational Human Resources support across multiple international markets, helping establish consistent, compliant, and employee-focused HR practices while building scalable operational foundations for future shared services capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Partner with regional HR leaders and centralized operations teams to develop and implement consistent Human Resources policies across all operating markets.
- Support the implementation and localization of employment contracts, HR documentation, and Human Resources frameworks in accordance with country-specific requirements.
- Cook up with local Legal and Finance teams to ensure compliance with statutory employment regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
- Develop, document, and continuously improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) for international Human Resources operations.
- Support the development of local HR teams by providing guidance, training, and capability-building initiatives across lean market organizations.
- Serve as a trusted Human Resources resource for regional teams by providing guidance on employee relations, compliance, policy interpretation, and HR best practices.
- Manage employee relations matters across international markets while maintaining appropriate documentation and escalating complex cases when necessary.
- Lead the standardization of Human Resources reporting by establishing consistent reporting processes, metrics, and schedules that provide visibility across all global markets.
- Manage the complete onboarding process for international employees, ensuring a consistent, efficient, and positive new hire experience across all regions.
- Oversee employee lifecycle processes, including probation management, contract administration, employment changes, and offboarding activities.
- Maintain accurate, organized, and controlled Human Resources records and documentation across all international markets while ensuring data integrity, accessibility, and compliance.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Human Resources Business Partner experience with significant exposure to supporting employees across multiple countries or international markets.
- Proven ability to work independently across multiple jurisdictions while navigating diverse employment laws and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated experience developing Human Resources policies, procedures, and operational capabilities within lean, scaling, or early-stage organizations.
- Experience supporting Human Resources functions within developing or emerging international markets is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in at least two of the following languages is required, with fluency in all three considered highly desirable: English, French, and Spanish.
- The ability to communicate effectively across multiple languages is essential for supporting international teams.
- A strong understanding of employment law, statutory compliance requirements, and Human Resources regulations across multiple countries is highly preferred.
- Candidates with equivalent multi-country Human Resources experience and transferable international expertise will also be considered.

Pay
$140k to $190k annually.
