Human Resources Business Partner
About the role
HHS the state’s largest agency is seeking an HR Business Partner to help drive HR success and make a strategic impact within the agency in Bismarck, ND.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic partner, aligning Human Resource strategy with business objectives.
- Collaborate with both external agency customers and internal stakeholders (leadership and team members) through HR programs and practices in coordination with other HR team members.
- Provide guidance on team member engagement, employee relations, performance management, organizational development, workforce planning, compensation, and more.
- Drive HR initiatives and act as a change agent, championing new and modified HR programs that align with the agency’s goals.
- Be responsible for light project management and coordination of work projects and initiatives amongst peers.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business management, organizational psychology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in HR strategy development, talent management, performance management, and policy application.
- Strong communication skills, the ability to assess and analyze HR data, and the ability to contribute to executive-level projects.
- Possess certification in the HR field and with experience in large organizations with multiple locations, preference given to candidates with HR experience in a government setting.
