About the role
As a Human Resources Business Partner at Crescent Electric, you will be a key liaison and change agent. Using your proactive communication skills, you will balance employee needs with business objectives to create integrated solutions.
Responsibilities
- Ensure regulatory compliance with legal requirements pertinent to the day-to-day management of employees; collaborate with legal counsel when necessary.
- Develop and nurture partnerships to provide coaching, support and guidance.
- Contribute to and deploy plans to build morale, improve workplace relationships, and boost productivity and retention.
- Mediate and resolve employee relations issues; conduct thorough and objective investigations when necessary.
- Effectively represent Crescent Electric on employment law, Worker’s Compensation, and unemployment matters.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the HR department and other functions to develop policies, programs, and solutions.
- Partner with the business leaders to build the culture, plans, and success measures that make us best in class and a best place to work.
- Deploy, coach to and provide input on workforce and succession planning as well as plans business unit restructuring and optimal organizational structure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience and/or training (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Current knowledge of legal requirements related to human resources and employee management, including workers’ compensation, union relations, and federal and state employment laws.
