About the role
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as the face of HR to headquarters leaders, managers, and associates, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner. This role advances business outcomes by aligning HR practices to enterprise priorities, with a specific focus on Organizational Design and Workforce Management.
Responsibilities
- Design and optimize organizational structures to align with business strategy, growth priorities, and operational efficiency
- Facilitate and act as a consultant to the functions the role supports in creating business cases, ensuring they are compliant with our internal procedures
- Lead organizational assessments, identify structural gaps, and implement solutions that enhance performance and accountability
- Guide/Facilitate business leaders to define roles and reporting relationships that improve clarity and execution
- Drive change management processes associated with reorganizations, business transformations, and capability shifts
- Manage job description inventory and functions as a consultant for the business to facilitate job description creation
- Ensure alignment of organizational design with financial and productivity targets
- Partners with AC Corporate for policy compliance, projects, job titles, and job descriptions. Responsible for information flow and upload to Corporate platforms
- Create workforce planning processes functions, including forecasting, headcount planning, and productivity modeling
- Analyze workforce trends (turnover, capacity, capability gaps) and translate insights into actionable staffing strategies
- Drive staffing initiatives with Talent Acquisition, ensuring alignment to business priorities and timelines
- Lead workforce optimization efforts, including role redesign, resource allocation, and capability build
- Communicate and ensure understanding of company policies, compensation, and benefits programs
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Implement affirmative action programs and support diversity recruitment and outreach initiatives
- Partner with Employee Relations to investigate and resolve associate complaints, issues and concerns regarding employment practices originating from various sources, including but not limited to grievances, Ethics & Compliance hotline calls, Solutions complaints, lawsuits, and complaints filed with federal, state and local agencies
- Maintain and monitor application and enforcement of work rules to ensure fairness and consistency
- Maintain and monitor policies and procedures to ensure fairness and consistency
- Lead change management efforts for major organizational and workforce initiatives
- Ensure consistent execution of company communication strategies and change methodologies
- Partner with leadership to cascade messaging and ensure adoption of business and HR initiatives
- Implement, execute and communicate Positive Employee Relations practices and training for frontline leaders and frontline
- Manage Cheers 2 U program, reviews and approves individual cases ensuring compliance
- Business Partner for COE functions at Headquarters
- Implement and facilitate training programs as required
- Execute key talent processes (performance management, succession, development planning)
- Serve as the primary consultant to business leaders on all HR matters ensuring alignment with COEs
- Integrate across COEs to deliver holistic solutions
- Drive calibration processes (TMR/9-box) with fact-based assessments and consistency across the business
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of progressive HR Experience
- Organizational Design; experience building business cases
- Demonstrated ability to lead audits, regulatory filings, and process improvements
- Analytical skillset; able to use dashboards, Excel (Pivot Tables and formulas)
- Preferred: Master’s degree in HR
- 5+ years of progressive HR Experience
- Previous manufacturing or distribution experience preferred
- Previous consumer products experience preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish) highly preferred for interaction with AC Corporate
