Human Resources Business Partner
About the role
This position is responsible for the application of Human Resources principles, practices and tools that support the execution of business strategy and provide a positive work environment. A key area of impact is assisting one or more HRBP's with execution of day-to-day activities.
Responsibilities
- Perform HR responsibilities within assigned client group including but not limited to day-to-day HR employee relations, assisting with performance management, compensation/benefits, coaching, employee engagement, employee development, cultural change
- Partner with HR centers of excellence to ensure HR business partnership
- Manage talent acquisition activities including talent upgrade efforts, as necessary, and advises on market compensation requirements
- Support the performance management cycle, advising and coaching in areas of goal setting, mid-year feedback, annual performance review and the compensation planning process
- Provide guidance and support on day-to-day employee relations issues; conduct employee investigations and escalate complex issues and investigations to HRBP
- Design presentations and facilitate training to client groups; provide technical expertise and analytical support
- Work with COE’s and payroll, as necessary, in management of employee life cycle processes and transactions; guide the escalation and resolution of HR questions, issues and requests to the appropriate channels
- Improve strategic business initiatives, such as retention initiatives, workforce management and resource planning, by analyzing, interpreting and reporting data
- Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting Human Resources functions and ensures policies, procedures and reporting are in compliance
- Protect Chamberlain Group’s reputation by keeping information confidential
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3-5 years' experience in Human Resources, majority of which spent in Generalist role
- 1-3 years' experience in employee relations managing complex and sensitive cases
- Master’s degree in HR related discipline waives other experience requirements
- In-depth knowledge of Federal, multi-state, and local employment laws/regulations and an understanding of application to HR practices, policies, and programs
- Ability to diagnose and analyze problems and drive appropriate solutions

Benefits
The pay range for this position is $85,500.00 - $139,350.00; base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
