Responsibilities

  • Supports and advises Sr. Leadership and management team with respect to key Human Resources initiatives and processes.
  • Handles all employee relation matters including harassment, discrimination, violations of compliance regulations and employment policies.
  • Administers the appeal and grievance processes and make recommendations for appropriate personnel action for heavy populated hourly workforce.
  • Interprets policy and procedures and provides guidance in a consistent manner to leadership and employees.
  • Provides input and feedback in policy and procedure updates and implementation.
  • Point of contact for Aegis Home Office new hire and onboarding activities.
  • Administers unemployment claims and paperwork for Aegis Home Office employees.
  • Assists leadership and employees regarding FMLA, workers compensation, and disability concerns.
  • Partner with leaders to initiate and carry out performance management and termination process.
  • Assumes other duties, responsibilities and special projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related degree, or related experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Required Experience: 7+ years of related Human Resources experience in a HR leadership role with broad knowledge in human resource management including performance management, compensation, wellness programs and employee relations.
  • 4+ years leading, coaching, and mentoring teams.
  • 3+ years Employee Relations experience.
  • Technology proficiency. Adept with Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Legal and Compliance: Highly knowledgeable regarding Washington, California, and Nevada federal employment and labor laws and regulations with the ability to effectively communicate this information to management.
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with broad scope of HR skills.
  • HR certification a plus.

Pay

Min Salary USD $120,000.00/Yr. Max Salary USD $140,000.00/Yr.

Schedule

This is a hybrid role (4 days in office, 1 day work from home) at our Bellevue, WA corporate headquarters. Willing to drive to Aegis Communities in the Greater Seattle Area as needed. Able to travel to California communities 1 week per quarter.
