The HRBP Role

The HRBP coordinates and facilitates people processes during the employment life cycle. They support all areas of the Human Resources Department and other support areas such as Regional Vice Presidents.

  • Supports retention strategies, manages performance, trains employees, resolves conflicts, develops managers, and oversees employment policies and practices.
  • Advises managers and school operations teams on HR policies and procedures.
  • Guides regional leadership on organizational development, talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, and change management.
  • Acts as a liaison with recruitment, compensation and benefits, organizational development, and employee relations to ensure HR needs are communicated and managed.
  • Facilitates HR and talent management processes, including succession planning, performance management, compensation planning, and employee engagement surveys.
  • Builds and sustains an inclusive, values-driven culture reflecting the company's employment value proposition.
  • Leverages reporting and analytics to inform talent acquisition, retention, and workforce planning.
  • Participates in company-wide initiatives and projects, representing the division on HR needs and best practices.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum 10 years Human Resources experience
  • Ability to understand organizational issues, build relationships, and influence change
  • Proven ability to work in a changing, fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Reviews and assesses risk for potential terminations
  • Ensures leaders are informed and compliant with organizational initiatives
  • Maintains regulatory knowledge and expertise
  • Exercises judgment based on experience and expertise for tracks within scope without oversight from managers
  • Handles confidential information responsibly and exhibits sound judgment while maintaining confidentiality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills that reflect professionalism and tact at all times
  • Proficient in computer applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and internet applications
  • Able to learn new technologies
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Handles difficult and sensitive conversations with team, people, leadership etc.
  • Reports, analyzes, and summarizes data for stakeholders and leadership
  • Experience using HRIS systems
  • Experience in a variety of functional HR areas preferred (talent development, acquisition, compensation, employee relations, org development, etc.)
  • PHR or SPHR certification or completion of relevant certificate program preferred
  • Excellent technical skills, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word knowledge
  • Willingness to travel locally up to 10% of the time
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual starting salary for this position is between $65,000 – $80,000 annually. Benefits include medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, short-term disability insurance, 10 paid holidays annually, and paid time off for sick, vacation, and personal absences.
