Human Resources Assistant

About the role

The primary purpose of this position is to provide support to the Employee Relations Manager. This role handles daily administration and Human Resources duties while serving as the face of the company in assisting hourly and salaried employees, staffing agencies, and potential candidates with their daily needs.

Responsibilities

• Provides outstanding customer service/information to all internal and external customers.
• Data entry in various systems such as Oracle HCM, Ultimate Kronos Group (UKG) and Oracle 12c.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or GED is required.
• An Associate degree is preferred.
• Clerical experience is required.
• Bilingual is preferred but not required.
• Excellent customer service skills are essential.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary.
• The ability to resolve problems quickly is important.
• Familiarity with databases and/or common Human Resources systems is beneficial.
• A detail-oriented approach is required.
• The ability to work in a high volume/fast-paced environment is crucial.
• Saturday work, flexible schedule, and some overtime are required.
