Human Resources Assistant
Our client is seeking a Bilingual HR Coordinator to join their growing team in Tappan, NY. This is an excellent opportunity for someone fluent in both Spanish and English and looking to build a long-term career in Human Resources.
About the role
In this role, you will support key HR functions including onboarding, recruiting coordination, employee support, and HR administration. You'll be part of a collaborative HR team where you can gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of HR while contributing to a positive employee experience. Bilingual Spanish/English is required. This role supports a diverse workforce and requires daily communication with employees in both languages.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate a smooth and welcoming new hire onboarding experience, including employment paperwork, orientation, and first-day preparation
- Maintain accurate employee records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with company policies
- Support recruiting efforts through job postings, resume review, and interview scheduling
- Serve as a trusted HR resource for employees, answering questions in both Spanish and English
- Assist with benefits administration, leave tracking, and employee documentation
- Provide day-to-day HR administrative support, including reporting, data entry, and record maintenance
- Partner with the HR team on special projects and process improvement initiatives
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in Human Resources, Recruiting, or a related administrative role
- Fluent in Spanish and English (required) with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-service mindset
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR-related administrative tasks
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred

Pay
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

- 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- 100% Onsite in Tappan, NY
