Responsibilities
- Provide timely advice and assistance regarding employee/labor relations, compensation, benefits, development, and employment laws.
- Partner with local and corporate departments to resolve HR policy issues and ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws.
- Assist employees with health and financial well-being inquiries, maintain accurate benefit selections, and provide timely documentation.
- Support candidate screening, recruitment strategies, and continuously improve the new hire onboarding experience.
- Maintain accurate HR records, prepare and distribute headcount, termination, and staffing reports, and ensure payroll activity is submitted accurately and on time.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of HR experience (preferred); experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment is highly desired.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS, compensation structure, benefits administration, and payroll processing.
- Proficiency with HR technologies (e.g., Kronos, Taleo, PeopleSoft, Cypress, and Employment Screening Services).
- Absolute commitment to ethical decision-making and handling highly confidential information.
- Strong administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple reporting deadlines.
Qualifications
- BA/BS in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field (preferred).
- PHR or SPHR certification (preferred).
Pay
Compensation is determined by skillset, experience, job scope, and localized market data.
- Herndon, VA: $89,694 – $110,592 (includes regional supplement).
Note: The ranges listed above do not include discretionary bonus or equity packages.
