Human Resources Administrator
About the role
Price Industries is seeking a highly organized and people-focused Human Resources Administrator to support the day-to-day HR operations of our Progress Plant in Lawrenceville, GA.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary HR contact for plant employees and supervisors, answering employee questions and providing support on HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Support all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, employee status changes, training, development, engagement, and offboarding.
- Manage recruiting activities, including posting jobs, sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, conducting phone screens, coordinating hiring events, and facilitating candidate communication.
- Cook up onboarding activities, maintain employee data in Paycom and other HR systems, and conduct 30/60/90-day new hire check-ins to ensure a positive employee experience.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, including personnel files, attendance records, leave administration (LOA/FMLA), benefits documentation, and other HR-related information.
- Support benefits administration, temporary workforce management, including review of agency timecards and invoices, and other HR operational processes.
- Cook up employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, training activities, and plant communications to promote a positive workplace culture.
- Prepare HR reports, metrics, and documentation while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws.
- Participate in employee events, plant meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives that support operational and workforce goals.
- Perform other human resources and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of administrative, HR, recruiting, or employee support experience.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-service mindset.
- Spanish language verbal and written a huge plus.
- Experience supporting a manufacturing or industrial workforce.
- Experience working with HRIS systems and applicant tracking systems.
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- PHIR, SHRM-CP, or pursuit of HR certification.
