Human Resources Administrator
About the role
The Human Resources Specialist supports a variety of human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and Human Resources records management. This role serves as a key resource for employees and managers, ensuring HR processes are delivered efficiently and in accordance with company policies and employment laws.
Responsibilities
- Maintain 200+ employee payroll records.
- Audit timekeeping records daily.
- Enter time off requests and missing punches.
- Resolve any payroll problems or discrepancies.
- Ensure counseling notices are received back in a timely manner.
- Manage the employee attendance tracker and provide counseling notices to leadership.
- Control badge system, order badges, deactivate badges, audit, and maintain employee photos.
- Maintain employee locker spreadsheet and locker acknowledgement forms.
- Issue lockers to new employees and clean out lockers when employees leave the company.
- Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone, answering or referring inquiries.
- Answers employee inquiries or issues, explains company personnel policies or benefits to employees.
- Maintains security by following procedures, monitoring logbook, issuing visitor and employee badges.
- Assists with onsite job fairs.
- Prepares packets for new employee orientations.
- Supports and assists with HR related activities.
- Cleans up mail and invoices.
- Performs administrative duties such as filing and creating copies.
- Supports and meets KN and/or customer KPIs within their sphere of responsibility.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- At least 1-2 years of relative work experience.
- Working knowledge of Ultipro.
- Prior experience in a warehouse environment.
- Strong PC skills including proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Detail oriented and strong attention to detail.
- Organized, plans, and prioritizes work to ensure all job tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Professionalism, ability to deal sensitively with confidential material, strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills, ability to communicate with various levels of the organization and customers, ability to accomplish multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
- Fluent in English/Spanish (nice to have).
Qualifications

- Hourly wage range between $25-$27.50.
- Regular pay adjustments based on industry market data.
Pay
$25-$27.50 per hour.
Schedule
Onsite only, Monday to Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm, occasional overtime as needed.
