Human Resources Administrator
About the role
You will play a key role in implementing, managing, and enhancing our HR technology stack, including HRIS and benefits platforms, while supporting day-to-day HR operations such as onboarding, compliance, employee recordkeeping, and general employee support. This position blends technical and administrative responsibilities, ideal for someone who enjoys working with systems and people alike.
Responsibilities
- Oversee, maintain, and continuously improve our HRIS (currently Paycom).
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve system issues and roll out updates or enhancements.
- Ensure data integrity across all HR platforms, including payroll, benefits, time tracking, and performance management.
- Develop custom reports and dashboards to meet People Operations and leadership reporting needs.
- Drive automation initiatives to simplify and optimize HR workflows.
- Support onboarding, offboarding, and other employee lifecycle activities.
- Manage background checks, drug screenings, and other employment-related processes.
- Keep employee records organized and compliant in both physical and digital formats.
- Assist with benefits administration and coordinate with providers as needed.
- Help maintain HR policies and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Respond to employee questions regarding policies, benefits, payroll, and related topics.
- Contribute to ad hoc HR projects, including engagement surveys, internal communications, and other initiatives.
Essential Skills
- 3+ years of experience in HR systems administration, People Operations, or similar HR support roles.
- Practical experience working with at least one modern HRIS platform, with Paycom and Workday preferred.
- Solid understanding of core HR processes, including onboarding, benefits administration, and compliance.
- Ability to work independently and create structure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Tech-savvy and enthusiastic about streamlining workflows and learning new tools.
- Knowledge of U.S. employment laws and regulations.
- Experience integrating systems such as HRIS, payroll, ATS, and benefits platforms.
- Strong proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
