The Human Resources Administrator provides comprehensive support to employees and site leadership across key HR functions, including recruiting, benefits administration, employee records, onboarding, compliance, and time management. This role helps ensure a positive employee experience, maintains accurate HR documentation, and supports HR initiatives that align with overall business objectives. Responsibilities Administer a variety of human resources programs and procedures for employees, ensuring consistent and accurate execution.Support full-cycle recruitment efforts for exempt and non-exempt positions, including candidate coordination and communication.Assist with employee relations activities in partnership with HR leadership, helping to address employee questions, concerns, and issues.Manage site-level benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and employee communications about benefit programs.Assist in evaluating departmental results and HR initiatives to ensure alignment with business objectives and continuous improvement.Maintain personnel files and employee records, ensuring documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with applicable requirements.Promote workplace safety and good housekeeping practices by reinforcing policies and encouraging safe behaviors.Maintain HRIS records, update employee data, and generate HR-related reports as needed for leadership and compliance purposes.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company employment regulations through proper documentation, recordkeeping, and process adherence.Coordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding processes, including orientation activities and integration into the organization.Support time management processes by helping employees and leaders with timekeeping and related HR procedures.Perform additional human resources duties as assigned to support the needs of the site and HR team. Essential Skills Minimum of 2 years of experience in human resources support within a manufacturing, distribution, corporate, or industrial environment.Hands-on experience with HR administration, including personnel file maintenance and HR reporting.Proficiency in benefits administration, including employee enrollment and communication.Knowledge of HR policies and procedures and the ability to apply them consistently.Experience providing full-cycle recruitment support for exempt and non-exempt positions.Ability to coordinate interviews and manage candidate communications throughout the hiring process.Experience facilitating new hire onboarding and orientation processes.Strong employee relations skills, including employee support and issue resolution.Familiarity with federal and state employment regulations and basic compliance requirements.Experience with documentation, recordkeeping, and compliance management in an HR setting.Ability to maintain and update HRIS records and generate HR-related reports.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when managing multiple HR processes.Effective communication skills with employees, leaders, and candidates at all levels. Additional Skills & Qualifications Background in aerospace manufacturing, manufacturing, distribution, corporate, or industrial environments is highly beneficial.Comfort working with time management and timekeeping systems.Ability to support HR initiatives and contribute to evaluating departmental results.Demonstrated ability to promote a safe and orderly work environment through good housekeeping practices.Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.Proactive, service-oriented mindset with a focus on supporting employees and site leadership.Adaptability to a fast-growing organization and openness to learning new HR processes and systems. Work Environment This is an on-site role in a fast-growing aerospace manufacturing environment located in West Springfield, MA. The position requires working on-site 40 hours per week in a production-oriented setting where collaboration with operations, leadership, and employees is frequent. The work environment is structured and safety-focused, with an emphasis on good housekeeping practices and adherence to established procedures. HRIS systems, time management tools, and standard office technology are used daily to manage employee data, recruitment activities, and benefits administration. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Springfield, MA. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
