Human Resource Specialist
About the Role
Apply extensive technical expertise and full industry knowledge in the Human Resources function to provide Human Resources operational support to leaders, managers, and employees across the company. Coach and advise on complex, time-sensitive issues in performance and behavior management, disciplinary actions, employee departures, policy interpretation, conflicts of interest, and risk mitigation. Partner with other teams to develop innovative solutions to complex problems and provide exceptional service to our customers. Leverage critical thinking to focus on continuous improvement and solutions to drive efficiencies and scalability of the HR function.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Human Resources management roles
- Experience developing talent acquisition and retention strategies, workforce forecasting, and succession planning
- Experience managing sensitive, critical employee situations and assessing risk in large organizations
- Experience with human resources information platforms
- Knowledge of career development and employee engagement programs
- Ability to mediate and resolve conflicts
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Organizational Management, or Public Administration
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Workday human resources platform
- Experience with technology or AI solutions related to HR
- Experience working in the government services industry
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Excellent analytical, conflict-resolution, and problem-solving skills
- Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification, government and federal HR certifications, and Leadership and Organizational Development certifications

Pay
Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD).
Schedule
This role may be remote, hybrid, or onsite:
- Remote: Generally virtual, with occasional in-person requirements at a Booz Allen or customer facility.
- Hybrid: Frequent work from a Booz Allen facility, aligned with leadership expectations and role needs, with possible visits to customer facilities.
- Onsite: Primarily performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, collaborating directly with colleagues and customers as required.
Employees working virtually are generally expected to have their cameras on during meetings to support engagement and effective communication.
