Human Resource/Payroll Clerk (Construction Industry)

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is seeking a meticulous Human Resources/Payroll Clerk to join their team in Phoenix, AZ. This role is pivotal for onboarding and orientation of new employees, as well as ensuring accurate and timely timecard data entry within a dynamic, fast-paced construction-industry environment. The position is 100% onsite and offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals.

Responsibilities

• Onboard new employees, run orientations, and process new hire paperwork.
• Audit and data entry of employee timecards with exceptional attention to detail.
• Utilize strong Excel skills for data management and reporting purposes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures during the payroll process.
• Collaborate with HR and finance teams to resolve any payroll discrepancies.
• Assist with additional payroll and HR-related tasks as directed by the supervisor.
• Maintain confidentiality at all times.

Requirements

• High School diploma is required.
• 2+ years of experience in Human Resources or payroll processing.
• Experience in the construction industry is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, first shift: 6:30 am – 3:30 pm.
• 100% onsite in Phoenix, AZ.

Pay

$47,000 – $50,000 per year.
