Responsibilities

  • Communication with internal and external contacts to ensure facilitation of service requests
  • Follow guidelines set forth for follow up and day to day tasks
  • Maintain updated information in construction service software solution
  • Maintain asset information for equipment in construction service software solution
  • Affirm discrepancies between general contractors, project managers, and facility maintenance managers for costs arising from unwarrantied items.
  • Works with general contractors and suppliers to address issues on service warranties, architectural plans and equipment specs under the direction of management team members.
  • Other duties assigned as needed.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required
  • Some College preferred
  • Experience working in an office environment
  • Experience in an administrative role within the construction industry is a plus

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis in MS Excel
  • Soft Skills:
    • Tenacious and professional, ability to tailor message to all types of audiences
    • Ability to adapt quickly to change, willingness and ability to learn from other departments or alone.
    • Good verbal and written communication skills, strong time management skill, strong organizational skill, can-do attitude, sense of urgency, ability to take constructive criticism and strong work ethic.

    About the Role

    Welcome to Love's! Our Construction department is recruiting a Construction Clerk to coordinate service requests among locations, vendors, and general contractors. This role involves direct communication with store locations, vendors, and general contractors to provide updates on warranty service requests.

    Qualifications

    • Experience working in an office environment
    • Experience in an administrative role within the construction industry is a plus
