About the role

The Human Resource Manager is responsible for overseeing recruiting, hiring, on-boarding, training, compliance, workers compensation, accommodations, benefits, FMLA / ADA, Guard Card compliance, and basic HR functions including special projects.

Responsibilities

  • Oversight of recruiting, hiring, on-boarding, training, compliance, workers compensation, accommodations, benefits, FMLA / ADA, Guard Card compliance, and basic HR functions including special projects.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, federal/local state laws and conducting investigations, suspensions, and terminations.
  • Active listening and communication skills, good personal presentation, politeness and tact, and ability to function in a high-pressure environment.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent within 6 months.
  • Above average computer / technology skills.
  • Impeccable customer service and team leadership skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Willingness to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
  • Heavy recruiting experience.
  • Employee relations experience.
  • Ability to advise management.
  • Strong planning and organizing skills.

Qualifications

  • Must have 1 year of HR experience.
