Job Description
Primary Skills: Human Resource Assistant.
- Assist management in preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
- Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings.
- Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training guards and disciplining employees.
- Prepares employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs.
- Develops, maintains, updates and communicates organization-wide payroll policies and processes regarding earnings, deductions, time keeping as well as government compliance reporting.
- Manage company policy regarding equal employment opportunities, compensation, and employee benefits.
- Develops and maintains a human resources system that meets top management information needs.
- Maintains employee benefits programs and informs employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends.
- Process once a month invoicing for our clients. Do weekly payroll for staff. Compute biweekly worker compensation audit preparedness.
Requirements
- Associate degree or 1+ years experience in human resources position.
- Excellent communication skills; oral and written.
- A business driver and a creative/strategic thinker with strong analytical, financial and system skills required.
- Proactive, exhibit continuous improvement and an ability to affect change.
- Well-organized, extreme attention to detail and a self-directed individual.
- Ability to work at a high level of professionalism with ability to communicate, both oral and written, with various levels of management.
- Ability to prioritize, organize and coordinate projects, and manage a large amount of detailed tasks.
- Ability to take initiative and manage multiple projects to timely completion.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
- Strong customer-focus, results orientation, attention to detail.
- Able to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
