The client is seeking a Human Resource Manager to join their thriving manufacturing team. This is a permanent position requiring at least five years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
• Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract and retain the best talent.
• Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
• Assess training needs, develop and monitor training programs.
• Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
• Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
• Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues.
• Nurture a positive working environment by maintaining high levels of employee engagement.
• Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures, and ensure all employees understand and comply with these.
• Implement and manage HRIS systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date employee data is maintained.

Qualifications

• Proven working experience as HR Manager or other HR Executive in the manufacturing industry.
• People-oriented and results-driven with an ability to manage a diverse workforce.
• Demonstrable experience with HR metrics and HRIS systems.
• In-depth knowledge of HR policies and procedures, and best practices.
• Proven ability to implement organizational development strategies and workforce planning.
• Strong experience in employee relations and conflict resolution.
• Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
• Proficient in strategic planning and project management.
• Degree in Human Resources or related field; HR certification will be a plus.
