Responsibilities

• Create and prepare a diverse menu of locally inspired dishes, ensuring each meal is fresh and balanced.
• Handle take-out orders and manage outdoor dine-in seating efficiently.
• Work closely with clients to customize catering services for various events.
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness and food safety in the kitchen and dining area.
• Engage with customers to provide exceptional service and foster a welcoming atmosphere.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Strong culinary skills and knowledge of local Jamaican cuisine.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid food handler’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food preparation and service standards.

Skills

• Proficient in using kitchen equipment and tools.

Pay

• $15 per hour for regular hours.
• $18 per hour for overtime.

Schedule

• Regular hours: 11:30 am - 5:30 pm, Monday through Sunday.
• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed.
