Job Overview Marketech International Corporation USA is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HMR Support professional to support hazardous materials response, site safety coordination, documentation, and field activities for a large-scale semiconductor construction and facility project in Phoenix, Arizona. The HMR program supports site preparedness and response involving hazardous materials and chemical-related incidents. The HMR Support position will assist with maintaining program documentation, coordinating with project teams and contractors, supporting inspections and field activities, tracking corrective actions, and helping ensure HMR requirements are consistently followed across the project site. Public references to TSMC's HMR program describe it in connection with hazmat response and construction safety. This role works closely with HMR leadership, EHS personnel, contractors, construction teams, facility personnel, and other project stakeholders. The ideal candidate is highly organized, safety-focused, comfortable working in both office and field environments, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced semiconductor construction setting. Key Responsibilities HMR Program & Administrative Support Provide day-to-day support for HMR program activities, documentation, tracking, and coordination.Maintain HMR records, logs, reports, inspection documentation, and other required program files.Assist with preparing and updating HMR procedures, forms, checklists, and supporting documentation.Track open items, corrective actions, follow-up activities, and completion status.Maintain accurate electronic records and ensure documentation is current, complete, and organized.Support preparation of reports, presentations, spreadsheets, and program updates for HMR leadership.Assist with scheduling HMR-related meetings, inspections, walkthroughs, and coordination activities.Document meeting discussions, action items, responsible parties, and required completion dates. Field & Site Coordination Support HMR personnel during field inspections, site walkthroughs, and construction activities.Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, EHS personnel, construction teams, and facility representatives regarding HMR requirements.Assist with identifying and documenting potential hazardous-material, chemical, or site-safety concerns.Verify required HMR documentation is available and properly maintained for applicable field activities.Support follow-up on field observations, deficiencies, and corrective actions.Communicate HMR requirements and outstanding action items to appropriate project stakeholders.Assist with ensuring work areas and project activities remain aligned with established HMR and site-safety procedures. Hazardous Materials & Emergency Preparedness Support Assist HMR personnel with maintaining readiness for hazardous-material and chemical-related incidents.Support inspection and verification of emergency response equipment, supplies, and designated response areas as assigned.Help maintain inventories and documentation related to HMR equipment and response materials.Assist with emergency preparedness exercises, drills, training activities, and related documentation.Support communication and coordination during HMR-related events under the direction of designated site leadership.Document incidents, response activities, follow-up requirements, and corrective actions as required.Help ensure emergency procedures and response information remain current and accessible. Safety, Compliance & Documentation Support compliance with project-specific HMR, EHS, contractor, and site safety requirements.Review documentation for completeness, accuracy, and required approvals.Assist with tracking inspections, training records, certifications, and other compliance-related information.Report potential safety concerns, documentation deficiencies, and unresolved issues to appropriate leadership.Support investigations and follow-up documentation related to incidents or safety observations when requested.Assist with identifying recurring issues and opportunities to improve HMR processes and site preparedness.Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive incident or employee information. Project Coordination & Communication Serve as a coordination point between HMR personnel and other project stakeholders as assigned.Participate in project meetings and communicate relevant HMR requirements, updates, and action items.Coordinate information between engineering, construction, EHS, contractors, facility operations, and other project teams.Monitor assigned tasks and provide follow-up to help ensure timely closure.Support preparation of HMR metrics, reports, and status updates for project leadership.Escalate urgent safety or compliance concerns to appropriate HMR or EHS leadership.Assist with additional project, safety, and HMR-related responsibilities as assigned. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Health, Construction Management, Engineering, Emergency Management, or a related field preferred.Previous experience in construction, industrial facilities, manufacturing, semiconductor operations, EHS, safety, emergency response, or a related environment preferred.Strong organizational and documentation-management skills.Ability to accurately maintain logs, reports, spreadsheets, and compliance records.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to coordinate effectively with contractors, field personnel, supervisors, and project management.Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and communicate potential concerns.Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively within a multidisciplinary project team.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.Ability to work in an active construction and industrial environment.Ability to manage multiple priorities, changing conditions, and deadlines in a fast-paced project environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting semiconductor, high-tech, industrial, chemical, manufacturing, or mission-critical construction projects.Previous EHS, hazardous-materials, emergency-response, or construction-safety experience.Familiarity with chemical handling, hazardous-material identification, SDS documentation, and emergency response procedures.HAZWOPER, OSHA, or other applicable safety training or certifications preferred.Experience conducting or supporting field inspections and safety walkthroughs.Experience working with contractors, subcontractors, construction management teams, and facility personnel.Familiarity with incident reporting, corrective-action tracking, and safety documentation.Experience maintaining safety or compliance databases, logs, and reporting systems.Experience working on large-scale, fast-paced construction projects.Semiconductor or cleanroom construction experience is a plus but not required. The HMR Support professional will work closely with HMR leadership, EHS teams, contractors, subcontractors, construction management, and facility personnel. The position may require walking active construction areas, wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE), attending site meetings, supporting field inspections, and responding to changing project priorities. The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where safety, communication, documentation accuracy, and timely follow-up are critical.
