Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as Platform Administrator and approver for day-to-day production change.
  • Security-model changes, cross-module changes, and any high-risk change this role authors are approved by the SVP, Human Resources.
  • Enforce the sandbox-first protocol and the single intake front door across all requesters, and halt deployments that lack documentation, testing evidence, or downstream validation.
  • Surface platform risk with a recommendation and a proposed mitigation; risk acceptance sits with the SVP, Human Resources.
  • Maintain governance documentation, the change log, and the configuration decision record to a standard that lets any qualified administrator pick up the tenant.
  • Hands-On Configuration
  • Configure Workday directly - business processes, customizations, and integrations.
  • Manage and maintain the HRIS team and the Workday platform.
  • Lead the two analysts who configure and maintain the tenant.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HRIS, Workday administration, and/or similar roles.
  • Experience with Workday platform, including configuration, customization, and integration.
  • Strong understanding of HRIS principles and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to lead and mentor a team.
  • Experience with other HRIS platforms such as CMiC.
  • Knowledge of HR policies and procedures.
  • Experience with data analytics and reporting tools.

  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
