About the role
Rocket Lab is an end-to-end space company delivering responsive launch services, complete spacecraft design and manufacturing, payloads, satellite components, and more – all with the goal of opening access to space. The rockets and satellites we build and launch enable some of the most ambitious and vital space missions globally, supporting scientific exploration, Earth observation, and missions to combat climate change, national security, and exciting new technology demonstrations.
Responsibilities
- Aid in the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of HR systems, collaborating closely with HR, Finance, EIS, and IT.
- Create, configure, and deliver insightful reports and dashboards to provide key data and business insights.
- Assist with opportunities for process automation and optimization to drive business outcomes.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across integrated applications through analysis, clear documentation, and swift resolution of any issues.
- Assist with system tests, respond to user reports, diagnose, and resolve issues.
Requirements
- 2+ years' Workday HCM administration experience and bachelor’s degree, or equivalent years of work experience (HS Diploma or GED, and 6+ years of work experience).
- Proven hands-on experience in business requirements gathering and solution delivery.
- A strong technical background with HR, recruitment, payroll, and collaboration tools (Workday experience is a must).
- Experience maintaining HRIS-related documentation, including solution documents and technical/functional specifications.
- Ability to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with the ability to articulate technical concepts and establish effective working relationships at all organizational levels.
- Certification or training in Workday HCM is highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, information systems, business administration or a related field.
- A commitment to continuous learning and staying up to date with the latest HRIS advancements.

$88,000 USD - $110,000 USD
Schedule
Flexible schedule to accommodate remote work and occasional travel.
