HRIS Analyst
Hybrid work schedule — on-site Tuesday–Thursday at EnerSys headquarters in Reading, PA; remote Monday & Friday.
About the role
EnerSys is a global leader in stored energy solutions for industrial applications, with over thirty manufacturing and assembly plants worldwide serving more than 10,000 customers in over 100 countries. The HRIS Analyst supports and maintains EnerSys global HRIS applications and related systems, serving as a technical subject-matter expert, leading projects, driving process improvements, and mentoring junior analysts. This role partners with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure data integrity, optimize system functionality, and deliver innovative people-technology solutions that support organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve system problems; analyze root causes and recommend strategic solutions or process redesigns.
- Lead or co-lead HRIS implementation projects, including requirements gathering, business process mapping, data conversion, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications using project management methodologies.
- Review, test, and implement HRIS releases, patches, and enhancements; coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployment and documentation.
- Evaluate and recommend new features or modules to enhance system capabilities.
- Oversee data audits and integrity checks for supported modules (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors).
- Develop and maintain story reports, advanced reports, dashboards, and analytics for HR and business leaders; identify trends and provide actionable insights.
- Develop and maintain integrations using SAP CPI, Integration Center, and OData APIs; manage end-to-end integration lifecycle including requirements, testing, and issue resolution.
- Ensure integration security, data quality, and compliance with SOX/GDPR standards.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and global standardization.
- Lead change management efforts, including developing user procedures, training materials, and communications for system changes.
- Partner with HR subject-matter experts and business leaders to evaluate and implement best practices.
- Serve as a key liaison with IT, external vendors, and other business units; represent the HRIS team in cross-functional meetings and initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with SOX, data privacy, and security standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors.
- Demonstrated experience supporting HRIS for large, global organizations (10,000+ employees).
- Strong project management and change management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years of HRIS experience, including leading projects or major system enhancements.
- 4+ years of reporting and integrations experience.
- In-depth knowledge of HR processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Experience mentoring or training junior analysts.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and recommend industry best practices.
