HR Training Specialist I - Operations (Shift: Monday-Thursday 7am-6pm)

About the role

Jabil is seeking a Training Specialist to join our team in Florence, KY. The ideal candidate will conduct training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom training sessions.
• Learn and become proficient in at least 10 core programs through observation and on-the-job training.
• Instruct classes on both first and second shifts.
• Schedule activities, classes, or events.
• Ensure that training material relates to actual on-the-job tasks and develops necessary competencies.
• Achieve high satisfaction ratings among trainees.
• Continue to develop and demonstrate effective instructor competencies.
• Follow all ISO and department procedures.
• Provide post-training support and feedback to management.
• Assist in the development and certification of manufacturing employees.
• Re-certify manufacturing positions as required.
• Produce and maintain training records.
• Evaluate training through various methods and ensure high performance levels.
• Work on assigned projects.
• Attend and contribute to Support Staff Team meetings.
• Maintain a satisfactory Performance Appraisal rating.
• Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations.
• Comply with all company procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
• 1-3+ years' experience in a training capacity, preferably in a manufacturing/warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of manufacturing concepts, practices, procedures, and IPC standards.
• Ability to relate course material to actual on-the-job tasks.
• Effective use of adult learning principles.
• Experience with instructional design and lesson planning.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
