POSITION: HR & Talent Coordinator
About the role
The HR & Talent Coordinator serves as a key administrative and operational partner to the Human Resources team, with a primary focus on Talent Acquisition coordination and recruiting support. This role is responsible for ensuring a seamless candidate experience through interview scheduling, job posting administration, onboarding coordination, and recruitment process support. In addition to Talent Acquisition responsibilities, the Coordinator will provide backup support to Human Resources operations, including payroll processing assistance, employee data administration, and other HR-related projects as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate candidate interviews, including scheduling, email confirmations, calendar management, and communication with candidates and hiring managers.
- Manage candidate movement through the applicant tracking system (ATS), ensuring accurate records, timely updates, and compliance throughout the hiring process.
- Review inbound applications and identify potential candidates for Senior Talent Partner review.
- Prepare interview packets and supporting materials for in-person interviews.
- Maintain a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Support recruiting initiatives, hiring events, career fairs, talent pipeline projects, and sourcing activities as needed.
Requirements
- Must-Have Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in high-volume recruiting coordination, human resources, administrative support, or a related role.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional and customer-service-oriented approach when interacting with candidates and employees.
- Strong administrative and coordination skills.
- High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments.
- Interest in Talent Acquisition and Human Resources as a long-term career path.
- Technology Expertise:
- Experience working with ATS and HRIS systems preferred.
- Experience with Paylocity or similar HRIS/payroll systems preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
- Familiarity with Monday.com or similar project management tool, a plus.
- Physical & Work Environment Requirements:
- Ability to work for extended periods at a desk using a computer.
- Routine use of telephone and email.
- Office-based role with potential travel to conferences, events, and satellite offices as needed.
