Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Manage and lead collaborative recruiting efforts that can scale to the demands of the organization
- Confers with management and supervisors to identify personnel needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills
- Develops recruitment strategies to attract applicants to fill specific job openings
- Writes and places job advertising in various media
- Develops and coordinates internal job postings
- Develops and maintains contacts with schools and other public organizations to find and attract applicants
- Works with external recruiters and employment agencies to identify and recruit candidates
- Utilizes internet online recruiting sources to identify and recruit candidates
- Makes public presentations and participates in job fairs promoting the organization and opportunities
- Provides information on company facilities and job opportunities to potential applicants
- Makes initial contact with possibly qualified candidates for specific job openings
- Reviews applications and interviews applicants to obtain work history, education, training, job skills and salary requirements
- Screens and schedules candidates for additional interviews with others in the organization
- Arranges travel and lodging for out-of-town applicants
- Manages recruitment budgets
- Define consistent data-driven hiring metrics and goals
- Act as a key business partner to members of the company to improve recruiting processes
- Maintains the job descriptions library. Reviews and edits job descriptions provided by others, and assures job descriptions are current
- Develop and maintain process documentation for all hiring related activities
- Collaborates with other human resource staff to provide input and develop strategies to enhance programs to attract and retain qualified candidates
- Administers the organization's Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action program, assuring the organization complies with federal regulations related to fair hiring and work practices
- Analyze hiring, promotion, and termination data to assure compliant business practices, develop training programs to educate employees on properly sourcing, hiring, and training candidates to maintain compliance
- Oversee the upkeep of the employee handbook to assure updates are incorporated as necessary
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED and two years of Human Resource related experience required
- Associate degree in a related field preferred
